| BCC Legal Ministry: "He has shown you, O Mortal, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to work humbly with your God.” (Micah 6:8, NIV) The Legal Ministry serves as a resource to the church and membership to actively engage in ministry and service. We seek to do so in a manner that is consistent with the belief that the legal vocation is a calling from God requiring responsible stewardship in order to fulfill God’s charge. We will engage in activities that provide to members and the community helpful information that relates to justice matters in and out of the formal judicial system. Our legal services include, but are not limited to, providing legal guidance, attorney referral, providing educational seminars such as Estate Planning, Employment Rights, Basic Civil/Human rights, Property rights, Tax issues, Powers of Attorney, and offering career information on law and law enforcement to those interested in the legal profession.
