Leadership of Beloved Community Church:

Rev. Dr. Deborah Hoy Jones is a born again believer that loves the Lord.  Rev. Dr. Jones serves as an
Assistant Pastor at the BCC and as the Director of Christian Education.  She also serves with the
community based Stakeholders of Prince Georges County HIV/AIDS Ministry. In addition to her
ministerial duties, she serves as a pediatric neonatologist at Georgetown University Hospital. Rev. Dr.
Jones strives to live a content Christ-centered life by anchoring her faith in one of her favorite
Scriptures: Philippians 4:11 “Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state
I am, therewith to be content.”  

Reverend Carl E. Taylor, Sr serves as an Assistant Pastor at BCC and is director of Church Stewardship.
Rev. Taylor is the founder and CEO of Biblical Financial Basics (BFB) where he and his team of
consultants provide financial stewardship consultation, accounting, business  management, Human
Resources management and seminars to churches and small businesses throughout the Washington D.
C. Metropolitan region. He has served as a detective on the Fairfax County Police Department for over
20 years.  His favorite scripture is Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not on
thine own understanding,  In all thine ways acknowledge him and he shall direct our paths.”

Mrs. Pamela Taylor serves as the Treasurer of the Beloved Community Church and the director of the
Hospitality Ministry. She is also one of the founding members of Biblical Financial Basics (BFB).  Mrs.
Taylor serves as the Comptroller for a non-profit organization and is committed to assisting small
organizations become financially sound.  She anchors her spiritual walk in the scripture: "I can do all
things through Christ who strengthens me" (Phil. 4:13).

Rev. Samoris Hall serves as the Church Administrator of BCC.  He and his wife, Rev. Paula Hall, also
lead Praise & Worship at BCC.  Rev. Samoris & Paula Hall often minister to couples and families.  Rev.
Hall is a 27-year veteran of the United States Air Force where he was blessed to achieve the esteemed
rank of Chief Master Sergeant.  He also serves on the consultant team of BFB.  When asked what he
considers to be his most noteworthy achievement he always replies: "When I accepted the greatest gift
of all, the Lord Jesus Christ as my personal savior." The scripture that guides his life both as an
individual and as a family leader is Ephesians 6:10 – 20, The Whole Armor of God.

Rev. Paula E. Hall serves with her husband at the BCC, where she serves as the minister of Praise &
Worship and helps direct the Beloved Praise praise team. She also facilitates the Freedom Thinkers'
Sunday School & Bible Study class. Rev. Paula has over  25 years of experience in
telecommunications.  Rev. Paula’s favorite scripture is 1 John 3:2 – 3: “Dear friends, now we are
children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ
appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. All who have this hope in him purify
themselves, just as he is pure."

Rev. Toya Dover serves with the youth at BCC, with a special focus on the "tweens".  Rev. Dover is
also the founder and director of VAVOM (Virtuous and Victorious Outreach Ministry), a nonprofit
outreach serving the needs of at-risk girls (ages 13-21).  Rev. Dover says that the most awesome and
life-changing experience of her life is when she accepted the Lord’s directive to “preach my gospel.”
The scripture that encapsulates and epitomizes her ministerial journey is: “For I have loved thee with
an everlasting love, therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you.”(Jer. 31:3)
